Set
A set is a group of consecutive reps performed without resting.
You rest between sets, not between reps. Most exercises use 2 to 5 sets of 5 to 15 reps.

Working set
A working set is a set taken close to failure — usually within 1 to 3 reps of stopping.

Training volume is the total amount of hard work done for a muscle, usually counted as hard sets per week.
